Our Story

Built from the Ground Up in Somalia

Founded in 2016, Himma Consultancy was established to bridge a critical gap — the absence of a rigorous, locally grounded research and consultancy firm capable of serving Somalia's growing development and humanitarian sector.

Our expertise lies in integrating global best practices with localised insights to provide sustainable solutions. With a dedicated in-house team of Project Managers, Research Officers, Analysts, and Field Teams, we oversee projects from inception and research design to implementation, data collection, and comprehensive analysis.

Today, Himma operates across Somalia and Somaliland, with offices in Mogadishu and Hargeisa, and has delivered over 25 assignments for UN agencies, international NGOs, and government institutions.
